Over the next three years the Talents of Today, Leaders of Tomorrow (TTLT) Committee will be focusing on two key areas: Talent Attraction and Leadership.
In light of the ever-changing landscape, the TTLT aims to leverage its combined expertise and creativity to foster talent, promote leadership, and ensure a stronger and more sustainable petrochemical industry. DARE TO JUMP: Emerging trends in sustainable performance in times of disruption
During the Talent Session at the EPCA 58th Annual Meeting, pioneer in wingsuit flying and base-jumping, performance psychologist and author, Cedric Dumont, will share his insights into how major organizations worldwide can grow leaders at all levels by doing things differently, showing that performance comes from purpose, passion and presence.
With a compelling mix of spectacular video footage and personal experience as an adventurer and high performance psychologist he will demonstrate that skills such as dealing with emotions like fear are very transferable to any kind of environment and most of the time, what lies between us and our dreams is that same fear.

“Men Advocating Real Change" workshop at the 58th EPCA Annual Meeting
The TTLT is delighted to be supporting a workshop aligned with the Men Advocating Real Change (MARC) work. The chemical industry in Europe is at a pivotal moment, and unlocking the potential of greater gender balance is crucial for continued growth and innovation. The MARC workshop is an exceptional opportunity for leaders and professionals to engage in meaningful dialogue and actions to promote gender equity in the workplace. By attending, you will:
- Gain insightful perspectives: learn from experts about the importance of male advocacy in driving organizational change and what you can do in your daily job.
- Engage in interactive discussions: participate in dynamic discussions and activities designed to challenge norms and foster inclusive leadership.

Close-up on the TTLT subgroups
The Talent Attraction subgroup is currently looking into initiatives to inspire and equip young people with the skills, knowledge and passion to pursue STEM education and careers, ultimately fostering a diverse and talented workforce for the petrochemical industry. To achieve this, they will first assess existing member practices and work with other organizations to identify critical gaps in order to develop initiatives that can best bring value to EPCA members. Keep your eyes peeled on the EPCA website for a survey that will be published in the coming weeks. Your answers will be essential in helping build a gap analysis of what members want and what best practices they can share and leverage.
In parallel, the Leadership subgroup is excited to build on last year's successful ESG webinar with a new series focusing on ESG reporting. This year's webinars will spotlight how EPCA member organizations structure their ESG leadership and reporting, with a special focus on the social aspect. Each webinar will feature one company, covering ESG reporting practices, investor priorities, future recommendations and the integration of Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) into ESG strategies. The ultimate aim is to show companies how they can develop well-rounded leaders who are not only capable of driving organisational success but also committed to making a positive impact on society and the environment.
New TTLT members
It is our pleasure to welcome Diana Szalárdi from Bertschi and Heleen Witdouck from ExxonMobil to the TTLT!
At the same time, we are sad to say goodbye to Alain Hadorn, who has left the TTLT after many years of fruitful exchanges. We extend our heartfelt thanks to him for his constant and valuable input and wish him all the best in the future!
